Canada to Host the
1st Tourism Commonwealth Festival 2024!
The Commonwealth of Nations, commonly known as the Commonwealth, is an association of 56 countries which are former territories of the British Empire. The Commonwealth promotes democracy, human rights, economic development, and international peace and security among its member countries.
Canada plays a significant role in the Commonwealth due to its historical ties to the British Empire and its commitment to promoting the values and objectives of the organization. As a member state, Canada actively participates in Commonwealth activities, initiatives, and programs aimed at fostering cooperation, development, and mutual understanding among member countries. Canada also contributes to the Commonwealth’s efforts in areas such as democracy promotion, human rights advocacy, and sustainable development. Overall, Canada’s involvement in the Commonwealth helps strengthen international relations, promote global cooperation, and advance common goals and values among member states.
